Greetings! .. and welcome to limestone country. With man-made and natural wonders, Lawrence County, Indiana is known as the 'limestone capital of the world' and the center of Hoosier Heartland.
Located between Southern Indiana's recreational playgrounds...to the north - Lake Monroe; to the south - Patoka Lake, Paoli Peaks and the French Lick-West Baden resort area. Our Mission
The Lawrence County Tourism Commission provides information about and promotes attendance at attractions, events, destinations, and hospitality facilities in Lawrence County. This is to be accomplished through media marketing, operation of the Visitors Center, and distribution of grants to programs and businesses that bring visitors to the county.
