Join us for a few fun events at Spring Mill State Park!
FRIDAY
2:00 pm Helping the Hellbender
Hellbender? Snot Otter? Find out who’s behind these interesting names and discover how we can help an endangered Indiana salamander. Meet at Lakeview Activity Center.
SATURDAY
11:00 am I Spy…Spring Mill Lake Edition
Play a fun game of I Spy! and learn about some of the flora and fauna while hiking around the lake. Moderate hike. 1 hour. Meet at Lakeview Activity Center.
1:00 pm Misunderstood Creatures: Spiders, bats and snakes, oh my!
These creatures get a bad rep, but are often misunderstood. Meet at Lakeview Activity Center
SUNDAY
1:00 pm Trail Challenge Hike – TRAIL 1
Take a moderate .375 hike around the Inn with Spring Mill Naturalist, Sarah. Meet at the front patio of the Inn.
8:00 pm Owls, bats, and other creatures of the night Hike!
Join Chris for an intriguing stroll around the lake in search of the sights and sounds of a warm summer evening. (Trail Challenge hike- TRAIL 5). Meet at Lakeview Activity Center.
