Weekends at Spring Mill State Park are never boring! This beautiful park has so much to offer, with the historic Pioneer Village, 9+ miles of hiking, a beautiful lodge & a lake for fishing and kayaking with your friends.

Sunday, April 18^th

1pm:  Vernal Pond Hike – Meet Anthony at the Donaldson Cave parking lot for a short hike to a hidden gem at Spring Mill State Park- a vernal pond. Learn why this pond is an essential habitat and how it connects with the Karst topography of the area. 30 minutes.

PARK ENTRY FEE MAY APPLY
$5 FOR INDIANA RESIDENTS
$7 FOR OUT-OF-STATE RESIDENTS

VIRTUAL STORY TIME

10am:  Virtual Storytime with the Naturalist #VirtualINStatePark – Enjoy a virtual story with the naturalist.  It will air on Facebook live on Wednesday, Jan. 13^th at 10am: https://www.facebook.com/springmillsp/

January 23^rd
1pm:  Cave River Valley Hike – Come explore this beautiful, primitive property managed by Spring Mill.  Meet Tony at Donaldson parking lot to follow him in your car 15 miles to CRV.  2 hour hike. Very Rugged.  Water-proof/rubber boots highly recommended.
