“Midwest Station is a bluegrass band from Whitehall, Indiana. With ages ranging from 22-65, they bring a tasteful balance of old and new style picking to the table. They are a hard driving band that delivers high energy performances on whatever stage they play.

Jimmy Martin, Ralph Stanley, Bill Keith, and Jerry Douglas are just a few of the band’s influences. Together, guitar player Darrel Bush, mandolin player John Pfaff, dobro player Austin Heckelsberg, bass player Mitchell Chadwell, and banjo player Mark Sampson can’t help but to bring audiences to their feet!”

MITCHELL OPERA HOUSE

“The Neil Diamond Tribute will perform live at the Mitchell Opera House on August 18th at 3pm! Diamond look and sound alike Keith Allynn began his career in stand-up comedy at the age of 14 opening for such greats as Chris Rock, Tim Allen and Robin Williams. At 21, Keith discovered his musical talents while performing “All Shook Up” at a karaoke night. The girls went wild, and Keith was hooked. For several years he continued to perform as an Elvis tribute artist and was voted a top-ten Elvis by Graceland.
Later, trying to impress a girl who was a huge Neil Diamond fan, he called her on the phone and in his best “Neil” voice sang “Hello Again” from the Jazz Singer. It became their song, she became his wife, and he became The Diamond Image.”

A BEACH BOY TRIBUTE

“Sounds of Summer is a brand new tribute based in Southern Indiana that includes over 30 familiar hits and tells the story of America’s band – the Beach Boys. These four incredibly talented guys have known each other since grade school and shared a love of 60’s music and Beach Boys’ harmonies. The band has been playing across the Midwest and South since 2015, delivering audiences an authentic sound and appearance, taking them back to memories of the 1960s. Sounds of Summer: A Beach Boys Tribute has received praise for staying true to the Beach Boys sound and had the privilege of playing a live hour-long special on AXS TV’s “World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” in September 2016. This show isn’t just fun…it’s fun, fun, fun!”

The Avalons

The Avalons (formerly Sh-Boom) had its birth in 1987 when two fellow broadcasters at an oldies station with a love for 50s and 60s rock decided they could produce an excellent show! They decided that they wanted to be a show with all the entertainment elements…costumes, choreography, audience participation and wacky humor, instead of just another band that played oldies. A wacky comedy style evolved along with the music and their great 4 part harmonies were complemented with one zany bit after another.

Within a few years, they were headlining at fairs and festivals around the midwest and east coast. They were soon opening for scores of legendary artists like The Temptations, The Four Tops, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and others. A four day engagement at Springfest in Ocean City, Maryland, landed them a long term association and even more opportunities to open for acts like The Beach Boys, The Smothers Brothers, America, Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons and even country acts like Mary Chapin Carpenter, Colin Raye, Marty Stewart and dozens of others. Everywhere, they left audiences applauding their great harmonies, howling at their wacky comedy, and praising them for recreating so many warm memories of the 50’s and 60’s.
