An equinox only happens twice a year. It marks the beginning of Fall and Spring seasons. Celebrate the coming of the Spring season by taking a hike around the lake at Spring Mill State Park with Tony. Learn fun facts about the lake and the equinox while you enjoy the nice weather.

THE HAUNTED VILLAGE

This is truly an event that you won’t want to miss! Follow us, if you dare, through the spooky Pioneer Village at Spring Mill State Park. Volunteers decorate the entire historic village and turn it into a scary, haunted spectacle. Eerie creatures, ghosts and clowns with chainsaws are around every corner as you walk through the maze.

 

HOW TO GET YOUR BRACELETS

MAX of 10 Bracelets / Person.

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU ARRIVE EARLY TO GET YOUR BRACELETS.
THEY WILL SELL OUT FAST!

DO NOT show up to the event without a prepaid bracelet. Bracelets will NOT be sold at the event.

When you pay the entry fee to get your bracelets in the morning, keep your receipt! This will allow you to get into the park later for the event

 

EVENT

WHEN 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Once you have made it through the Haunted Village, employees will take off your temporary bracelet and give you a souvenir bracelet to keep with you!

Concessions and t-shirts will be available during the event.

 

ATTENTION: This event is not recommended for children under 8 years old. Strobe lights, fog machines and chainsaws will be present during the event.

SPRING MILL INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS

This weekend is full of fun at Spring Mill State Park.
Check out what’s going on below:

FRIDAY – AUGUST 7
3pm: Snake Talk
Come and learn about the snakes of Indiana and meet our two resident snakes.  Meet Kamryn at the Lakeview Activity Center.  Limited to 30.

SATURDAY – AUGUST 8
3pm:
Creek Stomp
Feel the cool spring water on your feet as you explore who calls this creek home.  Learn why these little critters are so important.  Limited to 20.  Meet by Village Ordinary.
