ReGeneration Thrift Store is having a sale on gently used toys. This is a perfect chance for any families that are looking for inexpensive gifts for the holidays. What is even better, is that the money that you spend goes to help other local charities and could make another family happy on the holidays. Tons of toys will be on sale, such as, doll houses, dry erase boards, riding toys and Nerf guns. All of the toys are tested and cleaned before they are sold.
Join us for the kickoff to the Mitchell Persimmon Festival, the 53rd Annual Candlelight Tour sponsored by the Mitchell Chapter of Tri Kappa, a statewide sorority that supports many charity, educational, and cultural projects.
Stroll through the Pioneer Village and have a glimpse of what life looked like in the 1800s. Listen to beautiful, live music as you enjoy a walk by candlelight and observe multiple reenactments of pioneer life. Volunteers and park workers will be dressed in traditional clothing, creating crafts and providing demonstrations of earlier life.
The event is free after you pay Park Admission.
$7 for Indiana Residents, $9 for Out-of-State Residents.

Once again local businesses will provide a way for youngsters to safely Trick or Treat on Thursday October 31st from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
