Robert Lester began playing and singing at the age of 13. His biggest influence has been the Stanley Brothers. He first began performing professionally with his band, Keeping Tradition, in 2004. The band recorded one album, which featured Mitchell Van Dyke on the banjo and James Price on the fiddle. One song from the album, “A Robin Built a Nest on Daddy’s Grave,” was featured on a compilation CD by Simm’s Records in Nashville! Robert has shared the stage with Larry Sparks and Ralf Stanley II among others. His last professional job was a lead singer with Larry Gillis’ band, of the Gillis Brothers. – Mitchell Opera House

Sweet Water Band is a Southern Indiana based band comprised of talented musicians dedicated to providing a variety of cover tunes to accommodate any age group.  Their repertoire of songs include: contemporary country, classic rock, and old time rock. This group is sure to be a crowd pleaser at any event.  Their diversity and passion for music are as deep as their Southern Indiana roots. Kirby was born and raised in Southern Indiana and began singing in church at the age of 5.  From that point on, music held a special place in his life. During his youth, he played bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and sang lead vocals in a variety of different bands from heavy metal, blues, rock and roll, and country. He now performs Country-Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and Modern Country. Kirby now resides in Orange County, Indiana and is writing and singing as much as ever. – Mitchell Opera House

Christy Miller, from Hudson, KY, was born into a musical family. Growing up, family functions were always full of various members of her family sitting around singing and playing every instrument made. Her love for performing started in high school and has become her passion. Her heart is in Country Music but with her soulful voice she is no stranger to Blues, Rock, R&B, Bluegrass and Gospel.

In 2006, Ted went on to Laughlin, NV to compete in the Talent Quest 2006 that involved 28 states, New Zealand, Australia and Canada, and he took first place. He then went on to win Komo TV 4’s NW Afternoon Celebrity Look Alike contest and has played twice for John Denver’s own “Windstar Foundation” in Aspen, CO. Ted cruised the Caribbean with Darryl Worley and Jimmy Wayne on a country cruise hosted by Great American Countrys’ own, Storme Warren. In 2012, Ted was awarded the Rising Legend Award by the National Traditional Country Music Association. Ted also performed with the late Steve Wiesberg, John Denver’s lead guitar player, from 2010 to 2014. Ted now performs Internationally for all kinds of venues and events. He has wowed the crowd selling out theatre’s all over the US.
