Joel Johnstone:
Have you ever watched The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Newsroom or The Astronaut Wives Club? You would’ve seen Joel Johnstone! While he is in Mitchell, he plans to speak about his role on The Astronaut Wives Club, as our honorable hero, Gus Grissom.

Harrison Schmitt:
As the most recent living person to walk on the moon, we are excited to have Schmitt in Mitchell to talk of his life as a geologist, former U.S. Senator and crew member of Apollo 17. You have to hear these stories!

Come to the show and observe a huge collection of gems, beads, jewelry, fossils and rocks. There will be science and 4-H project materials, Rockhound and prospecting supplies, as well as, lapidary supplies, which are used to polish, cut and engrave gems and stones. Start a new hobby! Become a Rockhound!



The Lawrence County Rock Club hosts the annual Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.

See a variety of gems, jewelry, beads, minerals, fossils, rocks, gifts, lapidary supplies, Rockhound & Prospecting tools, 4-H/science fair projects and more!
