WEEKEND PROGRAMS

Spring Mill State Park offers fun activities all-year-round for individuals of all ages! Hiking, biking and enjoying the historic Pioneer Village and the beautiful nature of the park is always available, but here are a few extra things that you may want to check out this weekend:

Saturday, February 25th
11am: Woodpecker Walk – Bring your binoculars
and meet Anthony at the Donaldson Cave parking
lot for a brief talk about the native woodpeckers of
Spring Mill and Southern Indiana. Take a short
walk to search for them! .5 mile easy walk, 30
minutes
1pm: Lime Kilns of Spring Mill – Go for a hike
and discover a well-preserved lime kiln that was
built in the late 1800’s. Learn how lime was
manufactured before automation. Meet at the
Lakeview Activity Center. 1 hour partially rugged
hike off trail.
