“Butchery on Bryantsville Pike”

Historic Walk, Haunted Talk and Light Supper

Tickets are now on sale for “Butchery on Bryantsville Pike,” our historic walk, haunted talk and light supper on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 6 p.m. This year’s walk focuses on the 1900 murder of 21-year-old quarry worker Frank Lenz, and it will take place 10047 U.S. Highway 50 West, on the same farm as the murder took place 122 years ago. You will hear the story through family members, friends, neighbors, and local officials.

After the walk, we will decamp to the Lawrence County Fairgrounds for a light supper of soups, cornbread and other good things and a presentation by Believe Paranormal on the results of their investigation related to the Lenz murder. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors over 65, and $10 for students and can be purchased at the Lawrence County Museum of History.
