WEEKEND PROGRAMS
Spring Mill State Park offers fun activities all-year-round for individuals of all ages! Hiking, biking and enjoying the historic Pioneer Village and the beautiful nature of the park is always available, but here are a few extra things that you may want to check out this weekend:
Saturday, February 11th
10am: Coffee with Cardinals – Join Anthony at
the Lakeview Activity Center to see what comes
and goes from our backyard birding habitat. 1 hour
1pm: Mitchell Karst Plain Nature Preserve
Hike– Meet volunteer naturalist, Tony, to learn
what makes this nature preserve special. Meet at
Oak Ridge Shelter for a one-hour hike on trail 7.
Sunday, February 12th
2pm: Donaldson Cave Hike – Meet Anthony by
the Sycamore Shelter to learn about Spring Mill’s
eccentric Scotsman George Donaldson as we wind
along the beautiful stream to the cave named in his
honor! Experience the new walkway into the mouth
of the cave. Bring a flashlight! 1 mile, rugged hike,
1 hour
