Friday, February 18th
8pm: Full Moon Hike – Meet your guide Anthony at Spring Mill Inn front patio for a fun nighttime hike and learn about February’s Full Snow Moon. 1 mile. Partially rugged. 1 hour.
Saturday, February 19th
10am-12pm: Coffee with Cardinals – Join Anthony in the lower lobby (near pool) of Spring Mill Inn to see what comes and goes from our backyard birding habitat.
11am or 2pm: Fish Printing (gyotaku) Workshop: Registration Required. Limited space. Gyotaku is a traditional Japanese form of art that fisherman used over 100 years ago to keep a record of the fish that they caught. Come learn a little about the history behind this art while also finding out what is swimming in Spring Mill lake today. Make your own fish print using our paper or bring your own piece of cloth such as a pillow case, handkerchief, etc. (something that won’t get washed often) 40 minutes. Sunday, February 20th
11am: Do you know snow? Learn about how precipitation is made. Create your own handmade snowflake. Lakeview Activity Center. 10 minutes.
