Weekend Programs at Spring Mill State Park

WEEKEND INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS
Saturday, October 22nd
3:30 pm : Period Correct Wedding – The wedding party and guests will all be dressed in period-correct clothing from the 1800’s.
2pm: Hamer Cemetery Tour – Join Sheree at Hamer Cemetery for a step back in time. Learn about our Pioneer Village’s early settlers. 30 minutes.
6:30 pm: Muffins with the Manager– Do you have questions about our park and all the projects happening? Join Spring Mill’s Property manager Mark for a question-and-answer series while enjoying a muffin provided by the Friends of Spring Mill State Park. Campground amphitheater. 30 mins.
7pm: Campfire Snake Talk– Join Naturalist Sheree for a campfire story while discovering more about our native snakes. Campground amphitheater. 30 mins. Live snakes will be present.
8pm: Spooky Folklore Hike – Meet Anthony at the Donaldson Cave parking lot for a short evening hike that will include several local folklore stories! 1-mile easy hike. 1 hour. In case of rain, it will be a Spooky Folklore Talk at Donaldson Shelter House.
Sunday, October 23rd
2pm: Fall pottery- Join Naturalist Paris at the Lakeview Activity Center and learn how pottery was made in the past. Make a small piece of fall pottery to take home. 20 mins. Geared toward children K-5, but all are welcome.
