Wildflower Hike

WILDFLOWER HIKE
Join the White River Forestry Committee’s annual wildflower hike on April 8, 2023 as we explore the abundance of spring ephemerals at Purdue University’s Feldun Agricultural Center, west of Bedford. Of the property’s 880 acres of land, 234 acres are in mature or managed forest. Trails throughout the property provide access to diverse features including varying soil types, drainage features, and intriguing karst terrain. Hikes will be led by Carroll Ritter and Janet Eger. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunches along, picnic tables will be available. Snacks and water will be provided. Cost of the event is $10.
