The Mitchell Opera House is excited to bring this FREE event to Lawrence County. They have had to shut the doors on indoor concerts at the Opera House, but that won’t stop them! Join them for an outdoor concert at the Mitchell City Parkwith rising star, Cody Ikerd & The Sidewinders. Cody Ikerd and his band get their inspiration from singers like Merle Haggard, Hank Williams and Johnny Paycheck. They recently released their second album, “You Can Fine me in a Honkeytonk”
While this is a free event, donations will be accepted and will be gifted to Becky’s Place, a local women’s shelter.
A message from the Mitchell Opera House:
“For this event series, we will be taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of all patrons. We will ask that you bring your own lawn chairs for the event and stay at least 10 feet away from others that are not in your group. If you leave your area for any reason, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. This will also be a smoke-free and alcohol-free event and a great opportunity for a night entertainment for the whole family.”

Stailey started singing around the age of 5 when he would sing for his church congregation. Now, he writes his own music and has performed at several places including the U.S. Capitol Building, the Indiana Statehouse, the National Quartet Convention, Faith Rocks, Holiday World, and the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. He was even a regional finalist on NBC’s the Voice.
