This is truly an event that you won’t want to miss! Come with us, if you dare, through the spooky Pioneer Village. Volunteers decorate the entire village and turn it into a scary, haunted spectacle. Eerie creatures, ghosts and clowns with chainsaws are around every corner as you walk through the maze.
ATTENTION: This event is not recommended for children under 8 years old. Strobe lights will be present in the Village.
Check back for more information once the event is closer!
Join us in the hunt for antiques, boutiques and more!
All you have to do is hop in the car (or better yet, a truck with a trailer), and take a drive along Highway 50. This highway goes from coast to coast and passes right through Lawrence County. Vendors and households set up along the sides of the road, selling things like clothes, home decor, plants and antiques. Some stores participate, as well, offering special sales and discounts!
You never know what unique items you may find during this 3 day event. It is a sight to see!

There was a time when it was VERY RARE to see a beaver in Indiana. That’s not necessarily the case, now. While you may not see them as much as you see deer, it’s pretty easy to tell when they’re around.
Meet us at the Lakeview Activity Center to take a hike to find evidence of a nearby beaver.
Explore the beautiful hidden gem, Cave River Valley, with the Spring Mill State Park Naturalist. Enjoy a rugged hike through this primitive park, that most people don’t know about. It is recommended that you wear good hiking shoes and comfortable clothing, because the hike will be rugged.
Meet at the Grissom Memorial at Spring Mill to follow the Naturalist to Cave River Valley, 15 miles down the road.
Paul Bertsch Band is back at the Creek tonight! Don’t miss out. The band will be playing your favorite rock and blues songs from the 60’s and up. Not only do they play an awesome mix of songs from Eric Clapton, the Beatles and the Eagles – they have their own music, too! As a matter of fact, their 4th CD will be coming out soon.
This band could become your new favorite. You don’t want to miss them.
Plus, they’re looking for gigs for 2019! If you know someone that needs entertainment for an event coming up soon, send them to Salt Creek Brewery to check these guys out.
Influenced by the landscape of Indiana, Robin Edmundson paints a picture of rural life in a unique and beautiful way. A blogger and photographer from Solsberry, Edmundson has created an artistic style all her own by trying to capture what her words and photographs can not. Her work has been featured in Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky, but now she is bringing her artwork to us. Visit the Wiley Art Gallery and join the Lawrence County Art Association in welcoming Edmundson to our own rural masterpiece, right here, in the rolling hills of Lawrence County. The reception will be on the March 22nd, but her work will be shown at the Gallery until April 27th.
An equinox only happens twice a year. It marks the beginning of Fall and Spring seasons. Celebrate the coming of the Spring season by taking a hike around the lake at Spring Mill State Park with Tony. Learn fun facts about the lake and the equinox while you enjoy the nice weather.
Meet at the Lakeview Activity Center
