“Invasive species are a threat to the plant diversity that Spring Mill is dedicated to preserving. Aid in our mission by pulling up as much garlic mustard as possible. Whichever individual pulls the most, by weight, at 11a.m. gets a free 2019 park pass! Meet at the pool parking lot with gloves if you have a pair.
Garlic Mustard: Second year plants produce a 1-4 ft. tall flowering stalk. Each flower has four small, white petals in the early spring. If you pull a leaf off and rub/crush it between your fingers it has a garlic scent.”

There will be science and 4-H project materials, Rockhound and prospecting supplies, as well as, lapidary supplies, which are used to polish, cut and engrave gems and stones. Start a new hobby!
