Do you remember the ABC sitcom “Growing Pains” from the late 1980s? Do you remember little Mike Seaver? That is Kirk Cameron! His sister is Candace Cameron-Bure (D.J. Tanner on “Full House”). A lot of people don’t know this, but Kirk is an evangelical Christian with a number of religious films under his belt, such as, “Fireproof” and the “Left Behind” movies. He was also recognized by Indiana Wesleyan University into their Society of World Changers in 2012.
Kirk Cameron will be in Bedford, Indiana in May to put on his show “Living Room Reset”. During the show, Cameron will be speaking about the relationships between a husband and wife, as well as, the relationship between children and parents. The event is organized for couples in hopes to strengthen their relationships by teaching them how to pray, worship and learn together. Matt Hammitt, lead singer of Sanctus Real, will be on the show as a musical guest.
