THE LICK CREEK BAND

“The Lick Creek Band plays a unique brand of “Eclectic Acoustic Music.” Tight vocal harmony is the most distinctive feature of the group. They have performed in hundreds of venues throughout Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. Blending guitar and bass, Lick Creek affectionately renders rock, pop, jazz, and original music into their back porch tuneful stylings. Regardless of the genre, you’ll still hear the sweetness of informal back porch jam sessions combined with tight vocal harmony & the musical connection shared by good friends.”

MITCHELL OPERA HOUSE

“The pride of Indiana, Lloyd Wood is one of the most consistently successful entertainers in the state. Lloyd has been performing in Indiana since 1978 and is nationally recognized for his contributions to the country music industry. Lloyd is also a recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash: the highest honor bestowed by an Indiana Governor.

As a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and vocal impressionist, Lloyd first gained a solid regional following as Lloyd Wood and the Little Nashville Express, the house band for the Little Nashville Opry. They opened the show for most of the bigger acts in country music in the late 1970s and early 80s and gained a following among regional country fans.

Lloyd couldn’t perform without showing off his impressive impersonations of the likes of George Jones, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Elvis, and Marty Robbins, as well as Walter Brennan, Jimmy Stewart, Gabby Hayes and Tiny Tim.

Whether performing before a large audience or doing a benefit, this man loves the Lord, along with his family, community, and country. He loves to entertain and it shows. He is respected by all his music peers. Not only will you enjoy his music but also his humor, which is why it is called the Lloyd Wood Show.”

THE MARLINS

“You’ve never heard a group of entertainers quite like the Marlins! These four brothers – Gary, Jace, Rick, and Robert – have been performing together for over 25 years for conventions, fairs, festivals, and corporate events in the U.S. and Canada. They have shared the stage with such luminaries as Lee Greenwood, The Smothers Brothers, Randy Travis, The Association, Merv Griffin, and others. In 2012, the Marlins’ original song “I Believe in America” was included in the 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City.

The Marlins’ repertoire covers the entire musical spectrum including country, rock, big band, pop, classical, jazz, and bluegrass. Whether it’s a show, dance, or quiet dinner music, they feel right at home – in short, music for any occasion or age group. A Marlins concert might include music from such diverse artists as Glen Miller, Willie Nelson, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Liberace, Neil Diamond, Sinatra, Elvis, Andrew Lloyd Weber, and Tiny Tim.”
