Southern Indiana

Make a special “bat craft” and learn some interesting facts about Indiana’s bats. After you are done, take a rugged hike down to Donaldson Cave. Feel free to explore the cave after the hike is over. Bring a flash light and some clothes that can get dirty!

Meet at the Lakeview Activity Center.

There’s nothing better than visiting the Farmer’s Market on a warm summer morning. Feel the sun on your skin and the happiness in the air as you walk along the booths and pick out the freshest-of-the-fresh produce from local farms. You may also find some neat little knick-knacks made by people right from your own community!

The Bedford Farmers Market begins in mid-May each year and runs through the end of October. So, if you don’t make this one, there’s always next week!
