LIMESTONE MONTH
Limestone Month is our favorite time of year! Meet Nelson Shaffer at the Bath House inside of Otis Park to learn why.
This program will focus on limestone geology around Lawrence County. Learn about the formation of geodes, the kaolin mines in Huron, the special features of Indiana limestone and the importance of the “rocks beneath our feet.”
Nelson Shaffer will lead us through the history of the rich limestone heritage in our area.
