5th Annual family fun walk
Enjoy a festive atmosphere with music, friends, family and snacks before and after the race at the start/finish line.
Everyone is Welcome
Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged to be part of this fun, family-friendly event that is designed to promote healthy activity and wellness while benefiting one of Lawrence County’s premiere charities.
Course Description
The event starts and finishes in Downtown Bedford on J Street, just west of the Courthouse Square. All participants travel through downtown, while 5k participants head north past Becky’s Place. The course will be open a maximum of 1 1/2 hours. The 5k will be timed, but is not part of an official race series.
Awards
The first finishing male and female will receive a trophy. All participants will receive a finisher medal for participating in the 5k or 1 Mile Fun Walk. 5k participants will also receive their finishing time.
