Weekend Programs at Spring Mill State Park

INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS
As colder weather begins in Indiana, we all tend to cuddle up indoors. When you start to feel the cabin fever creep in, take a look at what you can do at Spring Mill State Park.
Here are the programs this weekend:
Saturday, December 18th
1pm: Hidden Cave Hike – Meet Tony at the Oak Ridge shelter to go off trail and visit a couple small caves that are part of the Hamer Cave system. Rugged, 1 hour.
2pm: Reindeer Ornament Craft – Learn about different species of deer and why they are important to our ecosystems. Create your own Reindeer ornament to take home while supplies last. Lakeview Activity Center Program Room. 20 Minutes.
7pm: Full Cold Moon Hike – Meet your guide, Anthony, at the Grissom Memorial for this short, paved and accessible hike on Trail 6. .25 miles. 30 minutes
Sunday, December 26th
9am: Winter Morning Hike – Join our volunteer Anthony for a guided hike on Trail 5 around Spring Mill Lake. Enjoy the peacefulness of nature while hearing about all things Spring Mill. Meet at Lakeview Activity Center for a 1 mile moderate hike.
