The Annual Persimmon Festival is the third week of September in Mitchell, Indiana. It is 6 full days of festival fun and centered around our favorite quirky little fruit!

Join us for the kickoff of the Mitchell Persimmon Festival at the Candlelight Tour, sponsored by the Mitchell Chapter of Tri Kappa, a statewide sorority that supports many charity, educational, and cultural projects.
Walk by candlelight through Spring Mill State Park’s Pioneer Village and catch a glimpse of what life looked like in the 1800s. You will get to experience multiple reenactments of pioneer life as volunteers and park workers dress in traditional clothing, creating crafts and giving demonstrations of earlier life.
The event is free after you pay Park Admission.
$7 for Indiana Residents | $9 for Out-Of-State Residents
