INDIANA FREE FISHING DAYS

June 5-6

“On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to fish the state’s public waters. All other rules such as seasons, bag and size limits apply. Free Fishing Days are an excellent opportunity to learn how to fish, take youth fishing, or introduce a friend to fishing. DNR also offers instruction for learning more about fishing, teaching new anglers, and finding places to fish close to home through the Learn to Fish Program. Learn to Fish workshops are hosted around the state throughout the year. On Free Fishing Days, these workshops allow individuals new to fishing to learn without purchasing a license. Prefer to learn on your own? See Fishing Tips and Videos.

ANOTHER ROUND

“Another Round is Indiana University’s premier all-male (mostly single) a cappella group. Established in 1996, Another Round has entertained audiences in Bloomington and beyond for two decades. By pairing their rich harmonies with their signature sense of humor, Another Round puts their audiences in the middle of a truly unique entertainment experience.  Their chemistry and showmanship leave you with a feeling of hometown charm unique to the group’s beloved Bloomington, Indiana.

Originally named Straight No Chaser, the group was founded in 1996 by Dan Ponce and several friends from the world-renowned Singing Hoosiers. In 2008, a video of the group singing a unique rendition of “The 12 Days of Christmas” went viral, leading to a deal with Atlantic Records for the founding members. Although the school group is no longer known as Straight No Chaser, the music and traditions continue to be preserved under the new name: Another Round.”
