Spring Break at Spring Mill State Park

Spring is quickly approaching, which means that spring break is right around the corner! We have your entire spring break week planned for you at Spring Mill State Park. Come enjoy endless fun with friends and family and participate in activities including owl and snake observations, movie nights, cave river valley hikes and much more!

MONDAY
March 23 | 1:00 PM
Owls of Indiana: Come and hear all about owls and their cool adaptions! Listen their sounds and ¬learn the Barred Owl call.

 

 


TUESDAY
March 24 | 1:00 PM
Snake Talk: Learn about the snakes of Indiana while getting to know two of Spring Mills own resident snakes.

 

 


WEDNESDAY
March 25 | 1:00 PM
Guided Lake Hike: Join the naturalist on a one hour hike around the beautiful Spring Mill lake. Hear all about the plants and animals that live in the water and the surrounding land.

 


THURSDAY
March 26 | 4:00 PM
Movie Night: Head over to the Elm Room at the Spring Mill Inn to watch The Secret Life of Pets 2 while enjoying some yummy snacks with family and friends! This movie is perfect for the whole family.

 


FRIDAY
March 27 | 1:00 PM
DIY Tie Dye Shirt: The kids will love making their own Tie Dye shirt at the Elm Room in the Spring Mill Inn.

 

 


SATURDAY
March 28 | 1:00 PM
Donaldson Cave Hike: Meet the Naturalist at the Inn front patio and go on a rugged hike to Donaldson Cave. Along the way, learn about the Scottish explorer who the cave is named after!

 


SUNDAY
March 29 | 1:00 PM
Cave River Valley Hike: Meet at the Donaldson Shelter Parking lot to follow Tony to another Park Property 15 minutes down the road. Once you get there, join him on a hike in one of Indiana’s lesser known beauties!
