WOLF MOON HIKE

—- EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO FLOODING —-
Join us at Spring Mill State Park for a hike under the first full moon of 2020.  Meet Anthony at the Lakeview Activity Center for a fun venture along Trail 5 and learn about the full wolf moon.

1 mile hike  |  1 hour

INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS

Join us at Spring Mill State Park for a weekend full of fun! Check out the schedule below:

Friday

4pm:  Snake Talk – Have you met our resident reptiles? Join Sarah outside the Lakeview Activity Center as she introduces you to two native Indiana Snakes.

7pmHit the Trails Hike – Meet at the Lakeview Activity Center for a moderate hike that will include trail 2, trail 4 and trail 1.  2 mile hike, 1 hour. A great way to unwind from a hectic week.

 

 

Saturday

11am: Salamander Social Meet Sarah on the Lakeview Activity Center’s amphitheater and we will identify Indiana’s Endangered Snot Otter and make some salamander slime!

3:00p.m:  Old Growth Hike – Meet Chris at Twin Caves parking lot for a beautiful hike through the karst landscape and virgin timber.

 

Sunday

2pm:  Trail 5 Hike – Join Chris at the Lakeview Activity Center for an enjoyable hike around the lake to experience the sights and sounds of nature.  1 mile, rugged.
