You can now…

- Rent a canoe or a kayak and paddle along the Spring Mill Lake
- Rent a bike and hit the Mountain Bike Trail
- Participate in activities at the Lakeview Activity Center
- Throw on a swim suit and dive into the outdoor pool (if it’s not too cold)
We have been waiting all Winter for this! Let the Summer fun BEGIN!
Carousel Winery has invited Lawrence County Historian, Ron Bell, to be the guest speaker for this very unique event.
Not only will Bell be sharing his knowledge of this area before Indiana became a state, he will also be going on a very interesting discovery mission with us!
Apparently, The Lost School #7 was located right on the property that Carousel Winery sits on today. According to some early 1800’s maps, it is possible that the foundation of the old school could still be found.
… Challenge Accepted.
Bring your metal detector and hiking boots, and prepare to drink some of your favorite Carousel wine!
Before the hike, enjoy a meal from the “ol’ days”: beans, cornbread and our favorite… PERSIMMON PUDDING!
