Your one mile hike along Trail 7 will be lit up with battery powered candles. Spring Mill recommends that you "Bring your Christmas spirit and maybe even your best Christmas carol." Meet at the Oak Ridge Shelter parking lot.

Explore the beautiful hidden gem, Cave River Valley, with the Spring Mill State Park Naturalist. Enjoy a rugged hike through this primitive park, that most people don't know about. Join the Naturalist at Donaldson Shelter parking lot to take a rugged hike to Donaldson Cave. Listen to stories about the Scottish explorer that the cave is named after. If you decide to enter the cave, you will want to wear clothes that you can get dirty!

Meet the Spring Mill State Park Naturalist at the Hamer Cemetery. While you are there, take a look around and learn more about the Hamers and other significant individuals in Spring Mill's History.

There was a time when it was VERY RARE to see a beaver in Indiana. That's not necessarily the case, now. While you may not see them as much as you see deer, it's pretty easy to tell when they're around. Meet us at the Lakeview Activity Center to take a hike to find evidence of a nearby beaver.
